    Frequently asked questions

Does rotating or flipping reduce image quality?

Rotating by 90°, 180° or 270° and flipping are lossless operations on the pixels — nothing is thrown away. If you export to a lossy format like JPG, only that re-encoding adds any compression, which is invisible at a high quality setting.

Can I rotate or flip several images at once?

Yes. Drop in a batch, choose the rotation or flip, and apply it to all of them, then use “Download all”.

Will the rotation be saved into the file?

Yes — the image is actually redrawn at the new orientation and re-saved, so it looks correct everywhere, not just via a metadata flag some apps ignore.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Unlike most online converters, nothing is uploaded to a server. The conversion happens entirely inside your web browser using your device's own processing, so your images never leave your computer or phone. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
